Augusta - Mrs. Joyce Lipsitz Agress, 76 of Milledge Rd., wife of the late Nathan S. Agress, died Thursday, May 13, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Westover Memorial Park on Monday, May 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Rabbi Sanford Marcus officiating. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan Agress Miller and Steve Miller, Santa Maria, CA; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Agress and Joyce Agress, Swainsboro and two grandchildren, Emily Agress, Augusta and Adam Agress, Atlanta. Mrs. Agress was a native of Glenville, GA and attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. She was the co-owner of Maxwell's Department Store in Swainsboro with her late husband Nathan Agress for twenty years. The store is now owned by her son Robert, and has continued in business for over forty years. Mrs. Agress has resided in Augusta for the past twelve years and was a member of Walton Way Temple. Mrs. Agress was a compassio nate person and gave generously to may worthwhile charities. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2250 N.
