Saturday, 06-27-09, Kim and Erica's co-mingled cremains were interred next to Kim's parents in Rockford Mn.
There was a great private service held, and Kim and Erica would have loved it.
I love you both very very much.

Hi
I was just made aware of this site. I suspect it isn't visited as much now as it was at first when Kim passed away. But Gail thought I might like to see it and read your memories. I've been helping Gail with some of the smaller items for the service here in MN. My mom and dad were fiends with Bud and Dorothy when we were young and I grew up playing with the kids. Actually Jesse and I were in the same grade. I know all of my brother's and sister's have growing up memories of all of the family. Then when Rich and Gail got married, we had more opportunity to interact and visit at family events and gatherings. Each of us have unique memories from those years and Kim is a part of them. We all talked about out how we had no idea when we came to Dorothy's funeral that Kim was ill. We were so sorry to hear of your loss.

Honey,
I just spent the most wonderful last three days with Charis and Mia. We had such a good time with each other. When Charis flew home, Mia started to cry hard. We stopped on the way home to her house and hugged and cried together. She misses you a lot. I told her it was okay to cry.
I love and miss you so much.

Well its me again, just wanted to let you know there is a spot saved for you and Erica with mom and dad. I also ordered a stone that will say:
Kimberly Ann Pattee
8/31/1954 - 9/24/2008
Erica Lynn Sanderson
6/17/1976 - 2/6/2005
(then around the outside of the frame of the stone)
Wife, daughter, mother, sister, friends forever
I hope this is ok with all, I'm hoping this can go the spring (after the frost is gone) of 2009. Always thinking of you, Love Gail

OMG Roger!! I just learned of Kim's departure. I am in shock! I don't know how you are coping but I know it is difficult. It just seems like yesterday that Kim hired me at Aetna. I have wonderful memories of those days and will never forget Kim's laugh. Stay strong Roger.

Dear Roger and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Kim's death. She was a wonderful co-worker and a wonderful loving grandmother (I can still remember her excitement when Charis was born). I remember conversations we shared both in and outside the work place (Aetna-Savannah). Please accept my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Tommy Jacobs

Roger, Shawn, Shelly,Charis & Mia,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all I am still in shock with the loss. The quickness of it . Now our memories will remember Kim forever. The time when she said to Charis " are you shoooshing me" so cool, her getting out of the car and dancing to Cheroke Nation , Her there to listen or give a word of wisdom, such a wonderful lady. She will be missed, and loved by so many . She is out of pain, know I love all of you and I am sending a hug to each of you. All my love Debbie ,Kim's older sister/

"I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn."

Words can not begin to express the deep sorrow I feel for your family. The only comfort I take in all of this is knowing that Kim and Erica will be reunited. Your family will now have the both of them watching over you. Kim and Erica both were rare individuals in todays world. They were both so kind and loving. I will always be grateful to the both of them.
Love, Amy

Kim, I'm not even sure yet that this will ever become reality. I just want you to know that this all just seems so unfair. I'm glad to know that you're now with Mom, Dad, Erica and Chad. You'll always be on my mind and in my prayers. I will love you forever! (Even though Gail was your favorite sister :-) We all miss you soo much! This world just lost a very strong, loving, unselfish and always caring individual. Hopefully the angels in heaven like to sing and snap their fingers or you will really liven that place up! Trevor made the comment that you were "the coolest aunt ever!" You were definately take from us too soon!
From your "little" sister.

I have many memories of Kim during the years we worked together. First it was DME providers who wanted the impossible, then OCR - the work that was never done. We worked many times, all night long together. We laughed and sometimes sang while we worked. Those were good times and I will always remember Kim laughing and singing. I am sure that's what she is doing now.

Dear Roger,
I knew Kim when I worked under her supervision at Aetna in Savannah. She was always a go getter, hard working, and very fair. What she said to your face is what she meant. I was truly sadden to hear of her passing, but she is at rest watching over all whom she loves.

Honey,
I love you very much.
I don't know what to do now that you are gone. They say time heals, I don't know. I only know that the love of my life had to leave. I know you are no longer in pain, and for that I am happy.
You suffered and I didn't want you to hurt anymore.
Now you and Erica can watch over Charis and Mia.
You loving husband, Roger.
