Mrs. Lucy Mann Poole - CEDAR CROSSING - Mrs. Lucy Mann Poole, age 84, of Cedar Crossing, died Thursday December 3, 2009, at the Bethany Nursing Center of Vidalia, after an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County living most of her life in Cedar Crossing. Mrs. Poole was a member of Cedar Crossing Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband; Herman Poole, and son Jimmy Poole. Survivors are three sons and daughter-in-laws; Johnny and Elizabeth Poole of Cedar Crossing; Tommy and Ilse Poole of Cedar Crossing, and Donnie Poole of Waynesboro; two daughters and son-in-law, Betty Jean Klever of Cedar Crossing, and Ann and Dywane Pittman of Cedar Crossing; twenty grandchildren and thirty-nine great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucy Mann Poole will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Rev. Reece Mincey and Rev. Dannie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Cedar Crossing Cemetery.
