Since the merger of St. Joseph's and Candler Hospitals I have spent most every Tuesday at my St. Joseph's Hospital office. Sr. Kristen would stop in to see me and proclaim that it must be Tuesday, because I was there. So as we celebrate Sr. Kristen's life it is fitting that we should share our last Tuesday together in this way. Yes, Sr. Kristen, it is indeed Tuesday.
Love,

Sister Kristen will forever be remembered for her love to those around her and her committment to The Lord. Always with a smile and kind words, the hallways of St Joseph's will be empty without her presence. Rest in peace dear one.

I really don't know where to begin to express the impact that Sister Kristen had on the lives so many young women, such as myself, as a student nurse at Saint Joseph's Infirmary School of Nursing in Atlanta. She was committed to turning out nurses with the highest skill and knowledge while building character to contribute to the world of health care excellence. She was profound in a quiet, gentle way.
May she rest in peace and I am ever so grateful for having passed her way.
Prayerfully,
Carolyn M. McKeown, RN, BSN

I had the pleasure and the opportunity of working for Sr. Kristine as her secretary during her tenure as Vice President and Director of Risk Management. She was such a joy to know and she was the reason I wanted to stay at St. Joseph's and why I love the Hospital so much. She started each day by visiting the many departments of the hospital and offering prayers of well being and good health for all those she came in contact with. After I left the hospital due to health reasons she continued to call me and always visited me and my family members when we were patients. She was truly an Angel on earth and loved The Lord with all her heart. I am so thankful I had the opportunity of knowing her and being loved by her. I loved her dearly and will miss seeing her smiling face in the halls of St. Joseph's.
