Paul Eugene Alderman, Jr. - SAVANNAH - Paul Eugene Alderman, Jr., (69), passed away August 11, 2012. Paul was born on April 22, 1943, in Ellabell, GA. His parents were the late Paul E. Alderman, Sr., and Inez Woodcock Alderman. Paul served in the United States Army 7th Infantry Div. in the Korean Conflict and in Japan. Paul also worked at the City of Savannah, Southern Railway and Union Camp. Paul then began his own business and was owner of Paul Alderman's Garage. Paul was one of the first people to install solar energy in his home. Paul was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Pauline Alderman Stepp and his wife, Helen C. McCullough of 18 years. Paul is survived by his 3 sisters, Mary Alderman Green, Ginger Alderman Morgan (Bud), and Jennifer Alderman Lynes (Perry), and grandchildren. Paul was well respected and loved by his Family and his Silk Hope Community, where he lived the majority of his life. Paul will be remembered for his caring ways, and his expert mechanical abilities.
