Robert LaBean Obituary

Robert Bob Allen LaBean - RICHMOND HILL - Robert Bob Allen LaBean, age 65, died on April 16, 2012, at Hospice Savannah. Robert was born in Flint, MI. He was a former NASCAR driver and built his own cars. He moved to Richmond Hill in 2003. Bob previously worked for Coastal Aquarium and J. C. Lewis Ford. He was a member of Savannah Christian Church. Survivors: Gertrude Gertie D. LaBean; two daughters, Wendy Burleigh and Angie Fenn of MI; two sons, Dan LaBean and David LaBean of MI; step-daughters, Debbie Hodges of Atlanta, Pat Porter of Bloomingdale and Kimberly Dickey of Richmond Hill; 13 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012, Richmond Hill Funeral Home. Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012, Richmond Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Speer officiating. The family is very grateful for the special care Mr. LaBean received and extends special thanks to Dr. Peters, Dr. Moriarity, Savannah Specialty Care and Hospice Savannah.
