Rose Reiser

Rose Marie (Becker) Reiser - SAVANNAH - Rose Marie (Becker) Reiser, was born the second of seven children to Hattie and Walter Becker on October 4th 1933 in Sheldon, New York. Mrs. Reiser passed away peacefully with her son Dan by her side on Monday, June 4th in Savannah, Georgia. Mrs. Reiser was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years, Louis Gerard Jerry Reiser and their son, Michael G. Reiser. Surviving family members are: son, Daniel Reiser, daughter-in-law, Mary Shawn M. Reiser and grandchildren, Sarah Michaela Reiser Ward and Patrick Sean Reiser. Surviving siblings and their spouses are Monsignor Vincent J. Becker, Lucille and Ronald Smith, Doris and William Kirsch and Thomas Becker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings Peter (Shirley) Becker and Mary Jane (Howard) Miller. Mrs. Reiser and her late husband raised their boys in Buffalo, New York, Worthington, Ohio, Virginia Beach, VA and Savannah, Georgia. Mrs. Reiser took great pleasure in bridge with the girls, crossword puzzles, reading, Atlanta Braves baseball, any tournament Phil Michelson played in and observing nature from her home on Skidaway Island, Georgia. A small memorial service is being planned to celebrate her life.
