Berniece May Hodges Foster - ATHENS - Berniece May Hodges Foster, 95, formerly of Savannah, GA passed away Monday, April 14, 2014. A native of Callahan, Florida, Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late Horace L. and Daisy Owens Hodges and was preceded in death by her husband, C. Archer Foster; brother, Kermit Hodges, and sisters, Maude Hodges Conner and Lois Hodges Stratton. She was a secretary with Savannah Bank & Trust for many years and was a member of First Christian Church in Savannah. Mrs. Foster was an avid Bridge player and known to be a good cook. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Sherry Baker and husband, Doug of Athens, GA, grandchildren, Jeremy Ozier and Bryan Baker, and great-granddaughter, Jasmine Baker. Graveside services will be held 2PM Friday, April 25th at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL with Dr. Lynn Hyatt officiating.
