Charlotte High - SAVANNAH - (formerly of Sylvania and Atlanta) Charlotte High, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at her residence in Savannah. She was born in Emanuel County, GA, was retired from a career in sales and was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple. She was a graduate of Screven County High School and Stetson University. She was also a volunteer at the Children's Health Care Center of Memorial Medical Center and the May Howard School. She was preceded in death by her Father: Asa DeCarr High. Survivors: Mother: Winifred Evans High of Sylvania; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Dr. James Jimmy A. & Pat High of Statesboro, GA; Nephews: J & Elizabeth High of Arlington, VA and Andy & Francesca High of Davinson, NC; Several Cousins, Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Visitation: Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Sylvania First Baptist Church. Funeral Service: Friday, May 23, 2014, at 12:30 PM at the Sylvania First Baptist Church with Dr. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial in Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
