Mr. James Marion Sullivan - SPRINGFIELD - Mr. James Marion Sullivan, 81, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Sullivan was born in Savannah to the late Philo & Maude Sullivan. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Sullivan, and two sisters, Myrtle Salinski and Arlene Ward. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springfield and retired from Continental Can. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Marine Rescue Squadron. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margie Sullivan; brothers, Robert and Henry Sullivan; sister-in-law, Janie Ruth Belcher, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Springfield with burial to follow at the Springfield Annex. Remembrances may be given to God's Mission House, 1435 GA. Hwy. 119 N. Springfield, GA 31329. Thomas C.
