Mr. Perry C. Chaney - BROOKLET - Mr. Perry C. Chaney age 91 passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in the presence of his family after a short illness. Mr. Chaney was formerly a longtime resident of Rincon, GA and a member of Crossway Worship Center in Pembroke. He was a Navy veteran of WW II, and retired from Brunswick Pulp and Paper as a Maintenance Supervisor with over 16 years faithful service. He loved working on cars, fishing and growing a garden. He was predeceased by his wife of over 65 years Floria Leigh Cowart Chaney, and parents Grover Cleveland and Sarah E. Harrell Chaney, and a son Joseph Denny Coe. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Sondra Sandy Leigh Chaney and Ed Sykes of Brooklet, six grandchildren Brian and Brad Sykes, Joe, Scott, Matthew, and Pamela Coe, and a great granddaughter Leanna Sykes. Visitation is 5-7 P.M. Sunday June 29, 2014 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11 A.M. Monday June 30, 2014 in Rincon Cemetery with Reverend Steve Hester, officiating.
