Mr. Warren Audrey Nease - STATESBORO - Mr. Warren Audrey Nease of Statesboro, Ga., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. As husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend, Warren faithfully served his family and community for 92 years. He was referred to as Runt as a child, was born in Guyton, Ga. on June 12, 1922 to the late Lawton and Evelyn Nease. He served his country during WWII in the Navy. He was predeceased by his first wife Lois Allen, his second wife Martha Joiner, brother Lawton Nease Jr., daughter Carole Bailey, and sister-in-law Barbara Joiner. He was loved by his children Nena and Bob Onacki, Anna and Roger Grandt, Brenda and Ken Chambers, Mickey and Jennifer Ousley, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and in-laws Ray and Patsy Joiner and Bruce Joiner, numerous nieces and nephews. He worked for Life of Georgia Insurance Company for 49 years and after retirement he brokered life insurance until the of age 85. He served faithfully at Pittman Park Methodist Church for 52 years where he was a member of the Henderson Sunday School Class. He was past president of his local and State Underwriters Association. A Mason for 60 years, and involved in Kiwanis and American Legion. Family and friends visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home Statesboro. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bagwell officiating. Interment will be at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
