James A. Diller - WALTHOURVILLE - James A. Diller, 53, died Tuesday under the care of Hospice Savannah after a courageous yearlong battle with brain cancer. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he was a resident of Liberty County for 25 years. He was a retired federal corrections officer, having worked in federal service for 33 years, and an Air Force and Army veteran. He is survived by his wife Margaret of Walthourville; sons, Stephen Croft (Feroza) of Atlanta and Randall Croft (Scott) of West Hollywood, CA; daughter, Christina Graves of Rincon; mother, Delores Ann Diller of Kittanning, PA; and a granddaughter, Anna. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, July 24, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Committal will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, with full military honors.
