Dear Joyce,

I am numb with sadness, and yet the memories of Curt will bring a smile to my face throughout my life. Curt was simply the best!

He was a unique talent who could speak on any subject. He taught me more about broadcasting than anyone I've ever met.

He was a kind, sincere man with a "tough" exterior. I will miss him, but will never forget his great "laugh." It will stay with me forever.

God, I'm sad.

Curt was a good friend of my family (Pat Forehand, Mel & Senora Prouty) for over 25 years. Most of the time I spent with Curt was when I was in my teen years. I’m now 37, but I still remember laughing at Curt’s stories when he came to visit. Curt was one of the most entertaining people I have ever been around. Curt was a real man and a real good guy.

Joyce, my deepest regret to you and family. Curt was a REAL Buddy to me .Most people don't know, but;Curt was the one who guided me in the cvilian world of broadcasting, after I retired from the Marines in 1979.
