Ms. Louella always had a smile on her face and twinkle in her eyes. She loved and enjoyed life. She left many precious memories. God bless you in your time of sorrow.

Mema, I feel that saying goodbye to you is like saying goodbye to a part of our family's history. You always could fascinate and awe me with the tales of growing up in the Coastal Empire and all of the innovations and technologies that you grew to see in your ninety-nine years. I'm so very glad that I could be a part of such a wonderful family. One full of such strong women such as you. You have lived a life of hardships and loss, but also one of great fellowship and joy. You were admired by all who knew you and were an inspiration to all of us to live the life that made us happy. I will certainly miss you.

On behalf of our 'third' of the Davis clan, I hope all of the Iler-Davis family is safe in the knowledge that 'Aunt Lou' is resting comfortably and smiling down at each of you from 'up there'. That would be a definite 'truth'. I'm so glad you had her for such a long time! May The Lord be with the family now and always.

All of us will remember the wonderful person that we were fortunate to have as a part of our lives. The laughter and fun, the "truths" that were spoken and the love that we shared. May she rest well and watch over us. Much love to all...

Johnny and Betty, it was sad to read that your sister and sister in-law passed away. I know you will miss her very much as everyone that knew her will. Johnny don't dwell on her death, just remember the good times that you shared and be thankful for the blessing of having her for such a long time. Dianne and I extend our sympathy and condolences to you and all of the family at this sad time in your life.

Gloria and Noleka, In this time of sadness I hope you can find comfort in those around you and rejoice in the many wonderful memories your mother has left you both. I loved her very much. She was a wonderful Aunt. Love Judy
