Mrs. Gina Lynn Ambrose - GUYTON - Mrs. Gina Lynn Ambrose, 29, died, January 5, 2011 at her residence. Gina was born in Savannah, but lived in Effingham County for many years. She was employed by Gulfstream, and was a Lutheran. Survivors include her husband, Carey Ambrose of Guyton; a son, Cody Alex Ambrose of Guyton; parents, Linda and James Allen (Buddy) Helmly, Jr., of Rincon and Danny Lee Sherrod of South Carolina; sister, Holly and Daniel Davis of Springfield; their children, Alyssa Mastin, Alaina Mastin and Alexis Davis; brother, James (Jamey) Allen III of Rincon; grandparents, Charles Elton and Juanita Flakes, Sr., of Eden; great-grandmother, Virginia K. Cain of Rincon; grandparents, James Allen, Sr., and Eleanor Helmly of Rincon, a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Sunday from Riggs Funeral Home. Funeral services: Monday, January 10, 2011 at 3:00 p.m., from the chapel of Riggs Funeral Home. Interment: Rincon Cemetery.
