Mark Callaway - RINCON - Mark Callaway, 46, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2011. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and a lover of people anywhere, anytime. He was a bright light to many people and a great encourager. He loved to hunt and fish and talk about Jesus. He graduated from Effingham County High in 1983, served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at Effingham County Hospital, He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon where he served as a Sunday school teacher, Deacon, Choir member and served on many committees. He is survived by his loving wife Kaye, his three daughters, Amber Richards (Drew) of Savannah, Rebecca Callaway and Kayla Callaway of Rincon; two grandsons, Joey and Wesley Richards, his son in love, Ryan Cole, his parents, Gilbert and Frances Callaway of Rincon, three sisters and their husbands, Laura and Joe Mesmer, Peggy and Craig Sullivan, Kathi and David Purvis, all from Rincon, one brother and his wife, Cliff and Tash Callaway, of Faulkville, his paternal grandmother, Wilma Callaway. Visitation will be Sunday from 7-8 p.m., at Riggs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday at First Baptist Church of Rincon. Interment: Rincon Cemetery. Memorial contributions will be given to the Gideons, and First Baptist Church of Rincon.
