Christopher Henry - METTER - Christopher Henry, 46, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, in Saugus, MA. Growing up in Metter, he was a 1983 Metter High School graduate and then graduated from the University of Georgia. After college, he lived in Atlanta before moving to Boston several years ago. Chris was a former co-owner of Panoply Design in Atlanta in the wholesale and retail side of the fashion industry in prom and bridesmaid wear. He launched his own line in 1996 and was named a designer in July of 2010 of Joli Prom and Anjolique Bridal of Canada and Niagara Falls, NY. He was also an associate of The Ultimate Boutique Women's Apparel of Boston. Chris was actively involved in charity work for children, and unselfishly gave of his time and efforts to these events. He was a member of the Metter First Baptist Church. Survivors are his parents, J.D. and Nora Henry of Metter; a sister, Carol Anne Henry of Savannah; dear friends, Doron Eres of Israel and Ted Miltiades of Atlanta; aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1:30 PM, at the Metter First BaptistChurch with burial in the Lamb Cemetery in Emanuel County. Visitation will be held Monday, 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
