Mr. Cornelius E. Boy Robinson, Jr. - SAVANNAH - Mr. Cornelius E. Boy Robinson, Jr. was born on August 10, 1928, in Savannah, GA, to the late Cornelius E. Robinson, Sr., and Jestine Grant Robinson. He attended Chatham County Public Schools. Cornelius served in the U. S. Army form 1952 to 1957. He was tank commander with the 746th Tank Battalion, in Germany and was honorably discharged. He retired from his employment at the Westside Community Health Center in 1992. He was called to rest Sunday morning, August 5, 2012, after a long illness. He is preceded in death by one son, Mr. Cornelius E. Jap Robinson, III. He leaves to mourn, his long time companion Ms. Barbara Mitchell of Savannah; five daughters, Mrs. Glynda Evans, Ms. Brenda Robinson, Ms. Shelia Robinson, all of Bronx, NY, Mrs. Francina S. McRae of Virginia Beach, VA, and Ms. Shekeria Monique Robinson of Savannah; three sons, Mr. Arsenial Robinson, Mr. Antoine Robinson and Mr. Artisian Robinson all of Savannah; one step-son, Mr. Walter Johnson of Savannah; two sons-in-law, Mr. Willie Evans, Sr., of Bronx, NY and Mr. Jesse McRae of Virginia Beach, VA; one beloved sister, Mrs. Francena Annie Edwards of Guyton; one brother-in-law, Mr. Robert Edwards of Guyton; twelve grandchildren, Freddie, Miriam, Willie, Mary, Latisha, Juliette, Michael, Kimberly, Christina, Shirnaree, Antonio and Jesslynn, twenty-five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Michael & Brown Funeral Home. Interment: Georgia Veteran Cemetery, Glennville, GA.
