Howard K. Bailey - SAVANNAH - Howard K. Bailey was called home on Friday, November 9th, 2012 at Candler Hospital. He was a native of Savannah, Georgia and a member of St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church. He is a graduate of Alfred E. Beach, class of 1966. Howard was in the US Army and a Vietnam Veteran. He worked at Great Dane Trailer for 15 years and retired from St. Joseph's Hospital after 18 years of service. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving devoted wife, Pauline Bailey. Three loving children: Howard G. (Atzmayah), Kareem (Maquenta), Kamilah (Maxwell) Simmons. A loving mother: Mariah Bailey. Three bothers: Clarence (Cathy) Dallas, GA, Zachary and Mark Bailey. Two sisters: Jacqueline and Felisha Bailey, all of Savannah and 10 grands and 1 great-grand. Christian Rites of burial for Mr. Howard K. Bailey will be held 12:00 P.M. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church located 441 E. Broad St., Savannah, GA. Interment: Hillcrest Abbey West. Mr. Bailey will lie in serenity in the church at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 15, 2012 until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Memorial Gardens Fund in memory of Howard K. Bailey at St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church.
