Heather Elizabeth Plante Dickey - ORMOND BEACH, FL - Heather Elizabeth Plante Dickey, 39 died tragically from a motorcycle accident in Ormond Beach , Florida on September 30, 2013. Born in Westerly, Rhode Island, she grew up in Gouverneur, New York. While stationed at Hunter Army Airfield, Heather received the National Defense Service Medal, The Army Lapel Button, The Army Service Ribbon, The Marksman Badge (Rifle), The Overseas Service Ribbon and the Aircraft Crewman Badge. Heather had just graduated as a Motorcycle Repair Technician from WYOTecH in Daytona Beach, Florida. Five Organ Harvest teams from all around the county returned with the Gift of Life to many recipients because of Heather's unselfish organ donations. Heather is survived by Jeff F. Dickey, III, her daughters Maghan (14), Kailin (9) and Riley (7) and her Father, John E. Plante. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heather Plante Dickey Children's Memorial Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 311 Johnny Mercer Blvd, Savannah, Georgia 31410. Funeral Arrangements: Wednesday, October 9, 2013, 11:30 A.M., Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Butler and 8th Street, Tybee Island, Georgia, Father Patrick O'Brian, Officiant.
