Lawrence Audet

Lawrence Andrew Audet - SAVANNAH - Lawrence Andrew Audet, 90, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his home. Larry was born and raised in Fall River, MA. He served during World War ll in the US Navy and retired after 29 years of service to his country. During his military career, Larry met and married the love of his life, Helen Kaye Holton. They were married for over 66 years. Following his retirement from the Navy, Larry went to work for Savannah Machine and Shipyard and worked there as Superintendent until it's closing. He was of the Catholic Faith. In addition to his loving wife Kaye, he is survived by a daughter and son in law, Dr. Lisa Audet and Frank Aliotta of Savannah; a brother, Ernest Audet of Maryland; a sister, Carol Lawson of South Carolina; two grandsons, Nick (Courtney) and Tony Aliotta; several nieces and nephews. Larry was an amazing man that truly loved unconditionally. He loved family, friends, animals and being one with nature.
