Born in Statesboro, Ga on June 9, 1958, to Wanda Barrs Hood and Thomas Counts. He attended Screven County High School. He was member of the Faulkville Baptist Church in Faulkville, Ga. He is survived by his wife of 14 years Wanda Dale Counts of Houston, Texas, His beloved dog Mollie, His cat BW, step sons Andy & Lauren Tischler of San Antionio, Texas, Jody & Stephanie Tischler of Charlotte, NC, Justin & ShaKeitha Tischler serving in Korea, his parents, Wanda & the late Jim Hood, Faulkville and Thomas & Diane Counts, Marlow, Grandchildren, Ashlee, Courtney, Sierra, Kaleb, & Reagan Tischler, Sisters, Arlene & Grady Taylor, Faulkville, Suzanne & Kenny Powell, Rincon, Jamie & Cliff Adams, Savannah, Amy Young, Joy Hutchenson, A brother, Tom Counts, all of Marlow, nieces, Heather Parks, Hannah & Abigail Taylor, Josie & Megan Sapp, nephews, Michael (Shelby) Parks, Andrew Sapp, RJ Young, Jonathan Adams, great nieces, Markayla & Riley Parks, Isabella Rafferty.
