Keith and I were neighbors and friends, but life set us on different paths not to cross again in this realm. It was a great time to be together and together you could bet there was what most would call "trouble" but those in the know knew it to be boys being boys. You did well in this life and I pray even better in the next.

Kieth. I remember when I first met you. Josh just told me to call you "Dad", that's what everyone calls him, he said. From that moment on you were "dad". You were such an optimistic person. You worked so hard. I remember when I got pregnant. I thought about abortion, adoption everything. I was afraid the child would not get what he needed. That Josh and I would not be able to provide. You told me, you assured me. You made me a promise, you said 'You, would give him everything that we couldn't. 'That he would not 'need' for anything. I decided then I would have the baby.
When Dante came, you wouldn't let go of him. You babied him, you gave him more than everything he needed. I was furious, upset, angry. He didn't even need to open his mouth and you gave it to him. Cookies, candy, snacks, juice. I wanted him to learn on his own I wanted him to be more independent and you would hold him until he slept and I wanted him to learn to sleep by himself. I was afraid you would spoil him. He wouldn't learn how to do things on his own. You would say "I am his grandfather, I am supposed to spoil him." I would say, "Not if we all live together, everyday!" I would get so angry. I would argue with you. You let him get away with everything. I hated it. Until you were gone. Just like that, from one day to the next in a blink of an eye. What I would do to have you back... To see him grow and learn and love. To be there for his tiniest accomplishments and be so proud. My heart is broken, every argument... Just lost time. I look at him and I know you are there. I can see you in him. You were his best friend and you were my dad. Every milestone he hits I will remember you and remind him of how proud you would be of him.

Keith was a great friend and leader in the Service Department at Coastal. He started out as a maintenance tech, but it quickly became obvious that he had a unique talent for trouble shooting the most complicated jobs. His positive, can do attitude inspired everyone in the company. He will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to his family..

I first met and started working with Keith in 2011. I clearly the remember the first day, Keith was sitting in the back office and welcomed me with a big smile on his face and immediately showed me pictures of his grandson, Punkie. It was a pleasure to work with Keith; the Service Experts family has suffered a huge loss. My condolences go out to his family.
