LARRY, Jewel Louise
Jewel Louise Jones Larry was born July 16, 1919 in Pasadena, CA, daughter of John & Bessie Bigby Jones. She was called home Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the age of 93. Jewel lived this life as daughter, sister, wife, mother, & friend. She loved children, flowers & all things beautiful. Loving husband Joe (d. 1976) & son Robert (d. 2002), with brothers Johnny, David, & James "Sunnyboy", and sister Barbara, were waiting in heaven to greet her.
She is survived by loving daughters Carole Morse (Daniel), Jody Kim & Jewelie Dixon; grandchildren, Angela Whitehead
(Anthony), Anson Morse (Cristal), Ailea Omotosho (Philip), Aja Frierson, Chalmer Dixon, Jewelia Dixon, Isaiah Savage, Jolie Savage, Quincellie Savage, Mark Alexander (Kelly), Audrey Alexander, Joseph Larry (Nini), great grandchildren; Austin Whitehead, Adam Whitehead, Ashlen Whitehead, Tristan Morse, Sol Morse; brother Sam Jones (Pat), sisters Patsy Jones, Mikki Staton, Rachel Davis-Shores (William), June Saunders (Eric); and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, family & friends.
Viewing is Saturday November 17 at 10:00am, with service to follow at 11:00am. Mountain View Cemetery, 2400 North Fair Oaks Avenue, Altadena, CA 91001. Bring your favorite memory to share.
