I’m truly sorry to learn of Don’s passing. I used to work with him in the Receiving department when he worked at Edison Bros. I attended his wedding when he married the beautiful Vickie. I remember his smile. I remember his laugh. I remember his passionate political views. Don was a genuinely kind hearted man. Very nice and sincere. I pray that those who loved him and miss him find peace and comfort in their memories of him.

Dear Vicki and family, I was so very sorry to read of Don's death in the paper this morning. I remember you two from the First Congregational UCC in San Bernardino when I was the secretary there. You two were dedicated in your faith and as I've read from Don's story, you continued on to fulfill what you had dreamed those many years ago. I sent the notice along to Dr. Kendall Baker and his wife Sonia. God be with you all, Claudia C. Oakes
