Anna May Henley
83, Anna May Henley passed away peacefully in her sleep in Simi Valley, CA on Valentine's Day, February 14th,. She was born on May 28, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. She was a resident of San Bernardino since 1941. A graduate of St. Bernadine's Catholic High School. A Pom Pom cheer leader at San Bernardino Valley College, where she met and married Valley College football star Jack Henley She was in the Miss San Bernardino Beauty Pageant in the 1940's. Anna May was an Interior Designer for Clarks custom house in the 1970's and owned Waterbed Showrooms. She sang in the Contebello Chior and performed musicals with her husband and children, such as "The Sound of Music". She was a member of the Catholic Daughter's of America.
Anna May was 100% Irish Catholic. Her Father was Eugene Lyons and Mother Mary Dougher. She has one brother Eugene, three sisters Teresa (RIP), Mariel, Cathy. She is survived by eight children, Mike, Mary, Maureen, Daniel, Timothy, Carrie, Bryan and Miles
Along with 21 Grand Children and 21 Great Grand Children.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 28th at Mt. View Mortuary, from 5pm to 8pm with an evening vigil service at 7pm.
Funeral mass will be Friday March 1 at 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral (Holy Rosary) 2525 Arrowhead Ave. S.B.
