Christopher "Moli" James Malinowski
Age 22, of Chino passed on August 30, 2013 after a 22 month fight with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was born April 3, 1991, the son of Robert and Colleen (Halseth) Malinowski. Christopher was raised in Chino and attended Chino High School.
Some of Christopher's passions were hockey, fishing, NASCAR and music. He began playing hockey at the age of seven, played on the team for Chino High School and continued playing on adult leagues. He loved spending time fishing at the High Sierras and could fish from morning til night. He was employed by Rusty Wallace Racing Experience and thoroughly enjoyed his time traveling to the different race tracks. Music was also very important to Christopher and he enjoyed all varieties.
Christopher was kind, generous, loving, thoughtful, gentle and an overall incredible individual. During his fight with Leukemia Christopher showed strength and courage that can only be admired. He never let his illness stop him from showing kindness to all that he came in contact with. Christopher truly appreciated that his Uncle Ed Malinowski was there every day throughout his treatment.
Christopher will be forever remembered by his family and friends. He will be missed more than words can express.
Christopher is survived by his parents Robert and Colleen Malinowski, sister Jillian Malinowski, niece Makayla Schumann, grandmother Magdalene Brown and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday September 28, 2013 10:00 a.m. at Mountain Meadows Golf Course, 1875 Fairplex Drive, Pomona CA 91768. Casual attire.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation be made in Christopher's name. During Christopher's treatment he met many young children and talked often of how he would like to do something special for them to make their stay during treatment a little happier.
