Danny Beason Garcia passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17th, 2013, at the age of 65. He was born on June 19th, 1947 to parents Edward and Glendyl Garcia in Southgate, California.
Danny is survived by his father Edward Garcia Jr, brother and sister-in-law James and Edie Garcia, Two children, Christine and Daniel. Three grandchildren, Alexia, Christopher, and Darrin. Danny was loved and
respected by many other family members and friends.
Danny attended and graduated from Nogales High School, La Puente California in 1965. Not long after, he entered the U.S. Army
. After successfully completing training at Fort Ord, California he served out his term in Pueblo, Colorado.
Upon entering the workforce, Danny received his commercial driver license and worked for many companies over his 40 plus years of service in the transportation industry. His last employer was British Petroleum "BP" at the Arco terminal in West Sacramento. Danny's focus to provide excellent and safe service to Arco and the local communities earned him a 15 year service award.
As a veteran to the industry, Danny was known to be a leader and a mentor to many drivers. During his illness, they expressed their appreciation of Danny, by visiting him daily and supporting his family.
Danny planned to retire this year and enjoy a rekindling of family through visits, enjoying more often his various hobbies of snow skiing, fishing, refurbishing his older classic vehicles and upgrading his home. Danny wanted to live life and had plans. He held strong to the end and inspired us all. Danny passed away loved by many and will be missed. Danny will join his wife Charlotte Kathleen and Mother Glendyl Beason Garcia who preceded him in passing.
The memorial service will be a burial on Monday, June 24th at 1100 A. M. at Desert View Memorial park in Victorville,
