Jean Marian O'Leary
(84) of San Bernardino, passed away on October 27, 2012 in Redlands, California. She was the Office Manager at the Norton AFB Officer's Club for 20 years. Jean also served on the board of directors of the Inland Dance Center. Jean had worked in the White House during the Lyndon B. Johnson administration, as well as with the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Washington, D.C. Jean loved to travel the world and visited many countries both in Europe and the Orient. After her retirement, her pastimes included bingo at San Manuel and seeing Broadway Theatre in Los Angeles. Jean had a passion for children and would donate each year at Christmas time to Toys-for-Tots and other organizations. Jean had a very forgiving soul as well as a heart of gold and had a strong desire to see those around her thrive and do well. Her sense of humor allowed her to assume the role of matriarch in such a way that you loved to be part of her family.
Survivors include daughters Roberta Johnson and Brandi (Larry) Williford; granddaughter Traci (Michael) Whiting; and great grandson, Jacob; twin sister Joan Cavanaugh; and brother Jerry Handlon.
Jean will be laid to rest with her husband Robert privately in the Riverside National Cemetery.
