Linda Lee White
1946 - 2012

Linda Lee White passed away December 31, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 20, 1946 in Fullerton, CA to Howard Duke and Shirley Anderson. At age 16, Linda joined the LDS Church and was a faithful member serving in many callings throughout her life. Her high school graduation was from Paramount High School in 1964. She later met and subsequently married Gordon C. White in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on August 3, 1968. Linda enjoyed a 25-year career with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. Her hobbies included reading, needlepoint, knitting, sewing, quilting, and camping; but she loved being with her children and grandchildren most of all. Linda is survived by her caring husband of 44 years; children: Raymond (Alicia) and David (Stephanie); 9 grandchildren; mother; and sister, Gloria. She is preceded in death by her daddy, Raymond Swenson, and sister, Sonya. A viewing will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. and again one hour prior to funeral services, which will follow on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. Both will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 17660 Carpintero, in Bellflower, CA.
