Lloyd E. Thompson
Born April 7, 1922 in Hartwick Township, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2013. He passed away due to complications from pneumonia. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He served his country for 27 years in the USAF. While stationed in Hawaii, het met and married his wife of 53 years, Betty Rose. Lloyd was pre- deceased by his wife Betty, his sisters Geneva, Vivian, Mildred, and Rosie. He is survived by his siblings Merle, Lila Tower, Robert and Barbara Taylor. Also survived by his daughters Emily Adams (Walter) from New York, and Sandra Chovan (Steven) from Rialto, CA. He was blessed with 6 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Crosspointe Community Church, 17244 Randall Ave., Fontana. A potluck/reception will follow in the church hall afterwards. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lloyd's memory to the March Field Air Museum P.O. Box 6463 March ARB, CA 92518.
