HUFF, Peggy Joyce
Peggy Joyce Huff, born December 20, 1932, dearly loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed peacefully January 16, at Regency Park Senior Living in Pasadena, Calif.
Together with the late Donald Scott Huff (divorced) Peggy raised four sons: Steven Clark and wife Jeanne (Pasadena), Donald Scott Jr. and wife Merri Ellin (St. Louis), Douglas Mark and wife Nancy (Sierra Madre) and Kenneth Bruce (Pasadena). Peggy was a beloved grandmother to seven fortunate grandchildren: Donald Scott III "Scott," Madeleine and husband William Strupp, Katie, Carrie, Tyler, Jamie and Cory.
Peggy loved golf, walking, the outdoors, and reading. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Pasadena and later, Valencia United Methodist Church. She had also been employed with Community Bank of Pasadena and was a past member of Annandale Country Club. Peggy was a woman of grace and humility. She was a formidable mother of four sons and a wonderful grandmother as well. She cared for all of her grandchildren, and loved them unconditionally.
Peggy was born and raised in Galesburg, Illinois, daughter of the late Egbert Edward and Hazel Elsie Clark, sister to Betty Lou Holt and husband Pete, and her identical twin, Patty Ann Fritz, all of the Galesburg area, and brother of the late Edward Clark Jr. (wife Dorothy). Services will be held February 9 at 1 pm, Church of the Angels, Pasadena, and at First United Methodist Galesburg February 23, with grave site burial to follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
