72, went to join her parents, first born daughter Julie Roper and her only son Donald Roper in Heaven on Saturday, May 4, 2013. She leaves her incredibly loving memories to be cherished by her four daughters- The Roper Girls: Wendy Westenhaver and Cathy Smith of Lake Arrowhead, Susan Cannon of Alta Loma, and Traci Castillo of San Antonio, Tx. Also surviving are Sharon's two brothers Lawrence Nicholson and James Nicholson. Sharon was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren who were her life. Sharon was a resident of Lake Arrowhead for more than 40 years and there are probably very few on the mountain whose lives she did not touch. She worked as waitress at Tony's Mexican Restaurant for just as many years until its closing in 2011 and served not only food but an amazing smile! Her laugh was contagious and she made everyone she met instantly feel like family. She will be missed beyond comprehension.A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at the Lake Arrowhead Resort, Lake Arrowhead on Tuesday, May 14th at 4:00 pm.
