KETTLE, Edna May
(Mrs. Raymond C. Kettle)

Edna May Kettle passed away peacefully July 12, 2013 in Alexandria, Virginia.
Born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1920, she grew up in Pasadena and graduated from South Pasadena High School. She later attended Pitman's Business School in Wimbledon, England. Returning to California, she married Raymond Charles Kettle and happily shared 58 years of marriage.
In addition to being a loving wife and wonderful mother,
Edna was an avid gardener and loved her pets. She was a bookkeeper at the Los Angeles County Arboretum for nine years, an active part in Kettles' Nursery and was very involved in the Santa Anita Church. After Ray's passing in 2004, she moved to Alexandria, Virginia to live near her daughter, Pam.
Surviving relatives include her son, Robert Kettle, his wife Lorraine and their daughters Rebecca and Reagan of Calgary, Alberta and her daughter, Pamela Kettle Jones of Alexandria. Her son-in-law, Jeffrey B Jones preceded her in death.
Edna will be interred at a later date at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pasadena.
