Elbert Edwin Zendner
Passed away peacefully on January 13, 2013. He was born on April 1, 1928 to Samuel and Vergie Zendner. he graduated from Fresno Union Academy in 1947. He married his wife Betty in Dinuba California on August 24, 1947. He was preceded in death by his son Douglas Vaughn in 1993. He enjoyed working for the Blood Bank and Victoria Guernsey Dairy. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, son Kenneth, his Daughter-in-law Nancy, 5 grand children and 7 great grand children. He was a gentle giant who was loved by everyone who knew him. My Uncle was one of the biggest, kindest hearted, thoughtful, caring, giving, selfless and strong person I have ever known. I feel blessed to have his blood in me through him being my Mother's Brother. Loved by all, Kerry.

I was so sad to hear that Elbert is gone. What a wonderful man! I have many great memories of the years that I knew him. Thinking of you and wishing you comfort and peace.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Elbert, he will be greatly missed. Elbert was blessed to live a long interesting life, Psalms 90:10 that people who live to be 80 and over have "extra strength", he had extra strength May you keep fond memories of him always in your heart as you seek comfort and peace from God at this time of sorrow.
