81, went home to be with his Lord on March 30, 2013. He was born May 6, 1931 in Oklahoma. He graduated from Redlands High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He married his high school sweetheart, Geneva Stevens, in 1952. He retired from Hostess Bakery in 1991. He was a 61 year member of Redlands First Assembly of God church. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Smith, and brother, Jack Baucum. Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Geneva, 2 daughters and their husbands; Candy and Wayne Thurman of Fort Collins, CO and Geena and Stephen Starr of Yucaipa, and his 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and his sister, Polly Bradley of Carlsbad, CA. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 10:00 am with viewing at 9:00 am at Cortner Chapel, 221 Brookside Ave, Redlands, followed by interment at 12:15 pm at Riverside National Cemetery.
