James Quinlan

Beloved son, father, husband, uncle and friend to many, has passed away. Jim enlisted in the Army Air Corps, (later The United States Air Force). He served in World War II (D-Day), Korea, the Berlin Call-Up and Vietnam. Jim enjoyed working as Pit Crew Chief for aircraft used in Air Races. He served as Set Consultant on Television Shows such as "Black Sheep Squadron" and Motion Pictures such as "Firefox".

Jim is survived by his siblings, Jack Quinlan, Tom Quinlan and Sheila Egan; his son and daughters, Katie Boyle (Dan Boyle), Erin Pickett (Garry Pickett), Bridget Russell (James Russell), Maggie Quinlan (Greg Whitley), and Patrick James Quinlan; grandchildren, Dana Pickett, Brooke Pickett, Regina Colchado, Brenda Webster, Jessica Russell, Anjelica Macklin and Tacio Rodriguez; and his great-grandchildren, Gianna Russell, Christian Colchado, Aiden Harriman, Azriel Lema, Azalea Macklin, and Adeline Macklin. Jim was preceded in death by his spouse, Anne Quinlan; and siblings, Alice Labat, Bill Quinlan and Harry Quinlan.

Services will be held Monday, November 18, 2013, at Saint Catherine of Siena Church. The Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., which will then be followed by Interment including Military Gun Salute, at San Fernando Mission. Give 'em hell!
