JOSE "MANUEL" AGUILAR passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011, at the age of 75. He was born and raised in San Bernardino, CA, on July 17, 1935, to the late Julian and Maria Aguilar. He was a member of The Jehovah Witness Congregation for many years, where he served as an Elder. Manuel retired from Santa Fe Railroad. He also was an Upholsterer. Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lucy Aguilar of San Bernardino; 3 children, Benjamin (Miriam) Aguilar of Wildomar, Sandra (Larry) Valdez of Highland, Daniel (Cynthia) Aguilar of San Bernardino. He had 9 grandchildren: Serina, Lorenzo, Janine, Manuel, Reuben, Daniel II, Sandra, Joshua and Miriam; 6 great grandchildren, Isiah, Elijah, Alyssa, Leilani, Annabelle and AnnaLiese; 1 brother, Roman Aguilar of Redlands; 1 sister, Lucy Galindo of Colton; and many nephews, nieces, family and friends. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Santos, Manuel, Frank, Raymond, and 2 sisters, Ramona and Feliz. Manuel will always be remembered for his Godly wisdom, advice, kindness and love for Jehovah, his family and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at 10:30 A.M. at Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
