Lambert, Jeffrey Michael
Jeffrey Michael Lambert, of Glendora, CA, born May 23rd, 1956 in Chicago, passed suddenly on February 14, 2013. Jeff leaves his loving wife Patricia (Pat) of almost 30 years; his mother in Chicago, Joy Lambert; a step-brother, Larry Lambert, both of Chicago; and his adoring furkid Dee Dee. He is pre-deceased in death by his father Jack Lambert and his sister Cindy Musikantow.
Jeff was known by his friends and acquaintances to be the nicest and most hardworking person one could encounter. His incredible sense-of-humor and gracious and unassuming manner endeared Jeff to all. He helped and led many community projects from serving as judge in trivia contests to leading job search workshops.
Jeff graduated with a B.A. in History and Library Science at Illinois State, and later an M.S. in Library Science at USC, where he and Pat met. He worked as a corporate librarian at Ernst & Young for many years. More recently he was a librarian in the public sector. His last position was at Monrovia Public Library, where he was instrumental in providing a multitude of resources for job seekers.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Monrovia Public Library Community Room, 321 S. Myrtle Avenue, Monrovia, CA, Sunday March 3rd at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow. All of Jeff's friends and acquaintances are welcomed to bring their Jeff stories.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monrovia Public Library Foundation and specify Job and Career Center. For questions, please call 626-256-8274.
