Louis Ramos Jr.
88, was born June 27, 1924 and passed away May 3, 2013 at San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland. He lived in Ontario for the past 39 years. Louis is survived by his wife, Imelda, brother Conrad, his three daughters: Stella, Bertha, and Brenda, his stepchildren Estela, Raquel, Roberto, Maritza, Carlos and Jose. He was a cherished grandpa of 22 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, uncle, nino and loyal friend. He also leaves behind his special love for Tristan his grand-doggie.
Louis was a veteran of WWII. He served 40 years in the US ARMY with the rank of CW4. Louis' face would light up with great pride of sharing his military experiences to all who would listen. One of his many proud accomplishments included helping liberate the Philippines in 1945. He retired from the military in 1984, but his discipline and patriotism he learned in the Army never left him. He was a member of the American Legion for 60 years.
Services will be held this Friday at 1700 at Forest Lawn in Covina. Church Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church in Upland Saturday at 0830.
