Paul David Garcia
Passed away at the home of his sister, Martha Jo, of natural causes on June 15th.
He was a Christmas miracle, born on December 11, 1942. He attended Holy Cross School, Las Cruces High, and New Mexico State University where he graduated with a degree in civil engineering. He served 26 years in the United States Air Force retiring as a Lt. Col. and went on to work as a building supervisor for San Bernardino County, California.
Paul David met the love of his life, Gail Gagnon, in junior high and he spent the rest of his life devoted to her. They were an example of love, devotion, and fun to everyone who was lucky enough to know them. And he will want everyone to remember them, always together.
Paul and Gail were devoted to their parents , bothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews-and were adored by them all in return. They traveled the world together and eventually settled in Redlands, California where they made many lasting friendships.
Paul David was met in heaven by his beloved Gail, his parents Fred and Eunice Garcia, his parents-in-law, Ralph and Peggy Gagnon, and his oldest sister, Teenie Krettecos. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Billy and Flora Garcia of Las Cruces, NM, his brother Jiggs Garcia of Cherry Valley, California, and his sister Martha Jo Chavez of Albuquerque, NM, and more nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews than he could count but he always managed to keep up with. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Holy Name of Jesus building fund.
