SSG Robert Alan Wilson, E-6, U. S. Army
Robert Wilson was 30 years old, born in Fontana, CA, and was raised in Covina, CA. Robert passed away on June 11, 2013 in Clarksville, Tenn., while on active duty in the US Army. He is survived by his mother, Vienna, and his siblings, Jennifer, Brian, Catie, and Michael, fiancé Jocelynne and her son Jason, grandmothers Big Mom (Paula), Virginia and Yolanda, and a host of relatives.
Robert graduated from Charter Oak High School in 2001. He participated in the Covina Police Department Explorers Program from 1997-2001.
Robert was in the Alpha Co 5th Special Forces Group as an E6 Staff Sergeant NCOIC (Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge), assigned to Signal Intelligence as a Sig Intel Analyst. Robert joined the US Army in 2003 and served his tour of duty for nearly 10 years. Our Country lost another great soldier.
