Ruth Arlene Carroll Obituary
Ruth Arlene Carroll
Dec. 1, 1962-Sept. 11, 2012

Our sweet Ruth slipped quietly into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the early morning hours of September 11th. She had fought a long, courageous battle with breast cancer, and is now completely healed. Ruth was born in Eritrea (Ethiopia), Africa on December 1, 1962 where her parents served as missionaries. She received a
Bachelor of Arts from Cal State Fullerton and a Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology. Ruth authored devotionals and children's Christian curriculum, taught in the Department of Communications at Azusa Pacific University and served many years as a Children's Minister for several local churches. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Terrence Carroll; her parents Carol and Art MacLean; a twin sister Rita Wilson and her husband Steve of Riverside; two brothers: Richard and his wife Joanne MacLean of Vacaville, and Bruce with his wife Ping MacLean of Thailand. Her brother Steve preceded her in death. Ruth also leaves her cherished nieces and nephews: Joelle, Andrea, Carl, Katryna and Tessa. Ruth will lie in repose at Todd's Memorial Chapel in Pomona from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 13th. A private internment will take place Friday morning, September 14th, followed by a public memorial service at 3:30 P.M. to be held at the Cornerstone Bible Church worship center, 400 N. Glendora Ave, Glendora, California.
