Frank Eugene Thornberry
97, of Redlands, California passed away February 6, 2014. He was born in Colton, California on November 6, 1916. Frank graduated from Colton High School and attended San Bernardino Valley and UCLA. He was married to Gwendolyn Mae Pruitt on June 16, 1939, who preceded him in death. Frank had a career in cement manufacturing with California Portland Cement Company for 45 years and retired as Vice President. He was a member of Rotary, Kiwanis and Masonic Lodge and devoted to his wife of 66 years, his family and he had a passion for the outdoors, fishing and music. He was survived by his son Gary Thornberry and son and daughter-in-law Keith and Jennifer Thornberry; his grandchildren Bryon Thornberry, Leslie Thornberry, Eloise Thornberry Gonzalez and Tony Gonzalez and Reed and Danielle Thornberry. Frank was also survived by two great grandchildren Lily Rose and Bais Reed Thornberry. Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00 am, February 18th at Montecito Memorial Park located at 3520 East Washington Street, Colton, California.
