TERESA FILIPPINI ADAME
September 28, 1929—February 7, 2014
Teresa , "Teddy", was born and raised in San Bernardino to Carmelino and Nancy Filippini. She married Raul V. Adame and together they had eight children. Teddy was a devoted wife and mother and was always there for her children. She was a Christian and a member of The Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. She was involved in many committees for the San Bernardino Unified School District and active in the PTA of Roosevelt Elementary School. She was always kind and generous, willing to help those in need. Teddy was loved and respected by all who knew her. She was a second "mother" to many. She opened her heart and home to those who needed a place to stay, a warm meal, or just a caring person to listen to life's problems with a non-judgmental heart. She eased the burdens of many. She worked as a caregiver to elderly invalids and helped make their final days more cheerful with her Christian spirit.
Teddy is preceded in death by her husband Raul V. Adame. She is survived by her children: Robert Adame (Kathy), Cynthia Sepulveda, Ronald Adame, Daniel Adame, Patricia Estrada, Raul Adame (Felicia) Stella Estrada (Luis), Elisa Aguayo (Rene). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren , 31 great- grand-children, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters Erma F. Adame, Josephine Cano, Nancy Avila, Rosemary Avila, Olivia Serrano, and brother John Montana. Brothers Carmelino Filippini, Edward Montana, and Thomas Montana preceded her in death. Teddy's death leaves a void in the hearts of many. Though she will be greatly missed , the wonderful memories she left behind will sustain us until we meet again!
Services will be held Thursday, February 13, at 10:00 A.M. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1575 W. 17th Street, San Bernardino with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
