Burton Rebert Lawver
Bert Lawver, 83, of Highland, passed away at home surrounded by his loving wife and children on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Born in Gettysburg, PA to Edwin and Hazel Rebert Lawver.
Bert was a passionate man who enjoyed Nascar racing, restoring old cars and gardening. He was also an avid Dodger baseball fan. Bert was generous with his skills and time, always there to help family and friends.
Bert was extremely loving and proud of his family, cherished wife, Ina (Harper) Lawver, two daughters, Sandy (John) Chapman of Highland and grandson Kasey Chapman, Roxie (Steve) Lawyer of Rescue, CA, and granddaughters Jennifer Limon and Amber Brink, and son Jeff (Tammy) Lawver of Highland and grandchildren Tiffany Lawver, Keith and Ashley Tront and Cody Melton; and sister, Phyllis Bream of Fairfield, PA,
Visitation will be from on Wednesday, May 14, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Mt View Mortuary, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino. Private internment for family will be Thursday, May 15, at 12:30 PM. Memorial Donations may be made to the Chronic Disease Fund, Attn Kimberly Burgess, 6900 N. Dallas Parkway, Suite 200, Plano, TX 75024.
