Lesley James Harris "Jim"
Lesley James Harris "Jim," 66, died Sunday, June 29 at home in Fontana, CA. He was born in Toledo, Ohio. Jim lived his life in Fontana. He was the owner-operator of Jim Harris Trucking before retiring. He attended Fontana High School. Jim is survived by his wife, Rosalee Contreras Harris of Rancho Cucamonga ; two daughters, Sylvia Harris Thimmes of Rancho Cucamonga and Wendy Harris Mann (Robert) of Whittier; one son, Joseph Thomas Ortiz of Fontana ; mother, Lora Ann Facker Harris; two brothers, Richard Harris of Redlands, and David Harris of Lake Forrest; one sister, Beverly Harris Garner of Grand Terrace; and three grandsons, Sean Thimmes of Sacramento, Dexter and Jake Mann of Whittier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in California and throughout the country. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvis Harris. Celebration of Jim's life will be held at Stanley L. Dickey Mortuary, Fontana, on Friday, July 11 at 6:00 p.m., with the doors opening at 5:30.
