Kenneth "Buck" Santini
Buck Santini, loving father and grand- father passed away peacefully in his home of 64 years on August 12, 2014. He was 93 years old. Even though Buck was most honored to have served in WWII, he felt his greatest achievement was to have helped raise his granddaughter Courtney. He was most proud of her, as he often told anyone who would listen. Buck was a widower of 37 years having been married to Irene Santini for more than 30 years. He is survived by a daughter; Sheri of Running Springs, a granddaughter; Courtney of Oceanside, and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family, friends, neighbors, and dog-Jet. A special thanks to his friend and caregiver Frank Palmer. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 23rd at Montecito Veterans Memorial at 9:00am.
