RUBY KATE LOFTON Sunrise - May 27, 1948 Sunset - February 15, 2010 Ruby Kate Lofton was born, May 27, 1948, in LaGrange, Georgia, to Mr. Thomas Lofton, Sr. and Mrs. Luella Lofton, who both have preceded her in death. In Kansas City, Ruby Kate met the father of her two children. Richard and Sonja Lofton of Los Angeles, California. Ruby Kate, seeking warmer climate and a better relationship moved when her children were young to Los Angeles, California. Here, she met t he love of her life, Roy Lee, who preceded her in death. Ruby Kate, was a very supporting mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Richard, his wife, Yolanda; and her daughter, Sonja Lofton; her grandchildren, Depresha Choice, Antonette Choice, Antonio Choice, Matthew Bradshaw, Janee Bradshaw, Jonathan Bradshaw, Jibrial Lofton, Ajayla Lofton, Mia Lofton. She is survived by her sister, Carrie Lofton of Atlanta, Georgia, Sister Lula Mae Childs, of LaGrange, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Marilyn Hooten, Yolanda Cooper, Sheila Lofton, Seth Lofton, Pablo Lofton, Beverly Partridge of Atlanta, Georgia; and cousin, Laura Ann Aiken of Atlanta Georgia, and many other nieces, nephews and grand nieces & nephews. She is and was loved by all.
